FaulknerBrowns is an international design studio that is always evolving.
Our foundations
FaulknerBrowns was founded in 1962 with a pioneering spirit. We have evolved under the stewardship of different generations of partners. We have retained the curiosity and ambition established by Harry Faulkner-Brown and WH Williamson, our founders, continuing over six decades to invent new ways of designing buildings of national significance and enduring quality.
Our habit for innovation, from evolving community, commercial, residential and sports-led thinking can be traced across a portfolio of architecture and placemaking projects of every scale, type and context.
Collaborative culture
Collaboration is a proud tradition at FaulknerBrowns. We are team players, and we believe in sharing knowledge across our three studios in Newcastle, Dublin and Vancouver through creative teaching, research and volunteering projects.
Our team engage eagerly with the industry around us, through roles in organisations like the International Association of Sports and Leisure Facilities (IAKS). This collaborative attitude extends to our internal working groups that encourage democratic management of the things that matter to us, from sustainability to our social calendar and from mental wellbeing to charitable donations.
