Built for flexibility
The building’s structure is unique in more ways than one. A 50m arena pool and 50m training pool sit back-to-back, with movable floors and walls so they can be subdivided into different lengths and depths.
For even more flexibility, the water from the main pool can be drained into an underground storage tank, allowing the space to transform into a multi-purpose arena. Between the two pools, a double-backed diving platform serving both pools means divers can continue to train even when the main pool is covered.
