Smithfield Riverside Approved

Our outline masterplan for the regeneration of Smithfield Riverside in Shrewsbury has been approved by Shropshire Council’s Northern Planning Committee.

This milestone secures outline consent for three mixed-use plots, major public realm upgrades, and vital infrastructure improvements–bringing us one step closer to transforming Smithfield Riverside into a new, vibrant destination.

In collaboration with Shropshire Council and Rivington Hark, and supported by the brilliant teams at Arup, Spacehub and BNP Paribas, this marks a significant step in the wider regeneration project and sits alongside our previously consented public park, which is due to begin on site later this year.
