Sportcampus Zuiderpark at WAF
Sportcampus Zuiderpark has been shortlisted to compete against the world's best architecture at the World Architecture Festival (WAF) which takes place in Berlin from 16th-18th November. The scheme is shortlisted in the 'Future Projects - Civic' category and if successful, will then be considered for the overall title of Future Project of the Year 2016.
Located at the heart of the historic Zuiderpark in The Hague, Netherlands, the sportcampus is an innovative collaboration of alliances between education, sport, sport science and the community, for both the Municipality of The Hague and its private partners: the Haagse Hogeschool and ROC Mondriaan. The overriding aim is to emphasize the importance of sport and exercise through learning and engagement, for the amateur as well as the elite athlete, using sport as the inspiration to deliver a healthier community and society.
