Engaging people in activity has never been more important.

Whilst leisure buildings can provide an essential focus for both team and individual activity, good design has a key role to play in creating active places and effective active infrastructure in our towns and cities. In particular, the relationship between buildings, places and infrastructure can be critical in promoting active lifestyles and bringing hard to reach people to activity.

To explore this theme further we have produced a sketchbook which focuses on the themes of active infrastructure and places, making reference to a number of our projects, both completed and in development. Download a copy of the sketchbook here.
